Every the year in celebration of the Day of Earth in the ecological kindergarten of my young son takes place the contest "Junk Art". The subject of the this year′s contest  are: "Birds and animals".
This is the contest for parents and children. We decided to make the elephant.

  S�o� paper mache - �mieciosztuka

Below is the short description - how we made him.

1.  The corpus is made from plastic bottles after water and the yoghurt.

  2. Ears I cut out from the cartoon, the tail is the paper-tube.

  3. The trunk is from rolled up soft cartoon.

4. The head and the corpus are formed from newspapers.

5. Legs are made from rolled up newspapers.

6. Legs and ears we glued to the corpus with the tape. The whole we stuck with several layers of paper stripes.

7. After drying (next day) of the all elephant I covered thin layer of the papier pulp .

8. Finally: the painting of the elephant and decorating. The basket is woven of paper and painted acrylic paints. The rug is several (about 5) layers of the plastic bags fused together by iron.
